Downtown

On my way to the libray, in downtown Fredericksburg, today, I snapped a few pictures.

The Tiny Pianist

This is a picture of an 8-month-old baby boy's hand that I caught reaching over his mother's shoulder to touch the piano keys, while she was completely distracted in converation. It was adorable, so I thought I'd share it with all of you.

Bubble gum, bubble gum, in a dish

After being in winter hibernation, we jumped at the chance to enjoy the park when mother nature blessed us today with a warm afternoon. Anyone who lives in the area knows this is a rare treat in February. The kids had a blast! Here is a picture of the girls jump-roping down a path to the river.



This reminds me of a rhyme I used to say as a girl:

Jeff Greer



Our friend, Jeff Greer, visited today from Seattle. I took a few pictures at a small reunion of friends and Jeff's unique style made his pictures fun to play with. I realized that I really enjoy the artsy side of photography and although, these pictures weren't planned that way, I'd love to plan and shoot an artsy session -- possibly a band cover. I think that would be so much fun! If you know anyone who needs a cover shot, send them my way :-)

Baby, It's Cold Outside!

I had two photoshoots today and even though it was cold out, it was gorgeous -- bright and sunny. The windshield was below 14 degrees and Lily was a trooper.

Blue-eyed Princess

Fishing w/ the Kiddos


My husband and I took the kids to a small pond hidden within Central Park behind Red, White & Blue, the barbecue place. We had the best time fishing with the children despite the heat and the ducks enjoyed bread leftover from our picnic.


Ana caught the most fish and all the children learned to put a worm on their own hook, that is, after little Tyler decided he couldn't wait for Daddy to put it on for him then did it himself, the other's couldn't be outdone.
